The Chemical Society of Japan in order to help earthquake victims in the Tohoku region has decided to implement a program to provide not only short-term but also continuous mid- to long-term support for primary and secondary school students supporting the chemistry centered science community as well as the next era as a basic policy. As reported in an article published earlier, this project will be conducted through contributions from the Society, and it has been decided to solicit donations to further enhance these activities.

Our policy is to provide not only short-term but also continuous mid- to long-term assistance to primary and secondary students supporting the chemical science community and the next era.

3. Donation reception

(1) Please submit donations by one of the following methods.

(5) Tax incentives
This donation is tax deductable in Japan. For postal remittance retain the receipt and for credit card donations retain the receipt sent by CSJ. As with other deductions, file with your regular tax return.

(6) Actions that have been completed
As a primary strategy, in cooperation with other publishing organizations, we have donated chemistry and science books to 29 libraries and 19 shelters. Click here for more information.
